The practice bridges the chasm between the world of environmental science and the market place by offering real estate solutions to environmental problems.
The practice is based in Sheffield enabling the business to reach all parts of the United Kingdom including Northern Ireland with ease.

The practice was formed in 1993 and has developed a significant reputation for quality advice in all aspects of environmental real estate consulting. It has £5 million of Professional Indemnity Insurance cover and is not fettered by pollution exclusion clauses.
Since its formation, Wilbourn Associates has been committed to property research activities associated with environment and contaminated land matters. In 1997 the practice sponsored research with the Investment Property Forum and the Pat Allsop Trust which was undertaken by the College of Estate Management. The report ‘Is it Worth the Risk? The Impact of Environmental Risk on Property Investment Valuation’ was published in April 1997.The practice has agreed to sponsor ongoing research at Sheffield Hallam University for the next 3 years examining environmental impacts on the market.
