The asbestos sector is the second most regulated sector in the UK behind the nuclear power industry.

There are stringent control measures, notifications and code of practices that have to be adhered to during the removal of asbestos containing materials.  The guidance related to any type of asbestos containing material whether it be asbestos vinyl floor tiles  (‘low’ risk asbestos product) or asbestos sprayed coating (‘very high’ risk product due to its asbestos content and friability) should be referred to at all times.

At the onset of any asbestos removal project it is important that all regulations and standards are being complied with.
